Beaver or Duck?
I just gotta do this poll. Seems like everyone is a Beaver around here. Is it true?
If so, why do you think? Cuz of their strong fisheries background? What?

I've found that if you get out of the tri-county area (the city) you'll run into mostly Beavers, except in Eugene 
I'm afraid there are going to be more poor misguided Ducks....It's to bad.......GO BEAVS!!!

Go Beavs! My dad, wife, father in-law, sister in-law, mother in-law, brother in-law (played football for Pettibone, poor guy!) and myself are all OSU grads. Unfortunately my two sisters didn't wise up, both are UO grads.

I'm always torn, though I'm a '80 grad of UofO...home of the "fighting" Ducks!
Torn because of two older brothers who went to OSU while I was in grade school and supplied me with some pilfered athletic gear (I always thought as a kid it was pilfered but maybe my bros got them honestly...I never asked) from the Beavs track and football teams. They ran track, (when OSU had such a program) and worked the sidelines as ballboys or chain gang or something like that during games at Parker. I was a big fan of "The Great Pumpkin" as a child...
Actually attended OSU myself for a year plus as a "Wildlife Science" major but dropped out, ended up back home and later that same year, enrolled at Oregon. It's a long story... 
So...I voted on Jennie's poll as "I don't care"...I still have T and sweat shirts from both schools...that I've paid for.

Too funny. Bill invited my brother fishing, and he showed up all decked out in Duck gear.

Both schools are great! Grrreat thread! Our son graduated from U of O. He is looking at law school at Lewis & Clark, U of O, and Wash.(yuk). Washington is his first choice, I don't know what he's thinking, we tried to raise him "right".
