Re: Digital Camera
I'd look at the Nikon Coolpix line of cameras. Easy to use, fair price, and takes a good picture. They have a few different pixel models, which will affect the price as well as the picture quality.

Re: Digital Camera
Nikons take really good close up photos and for e-bay that can be a plus.

Re: Digital Camera
I have a Kodak Easyshare. They come in various models and prices. Mine was $250 and takes great pictures. You want to get at least 4 mega pixels. I got mine at Wal Mart but there are other places to get them.

#1 Selling Consumer Digital Camera "Kodak Easyshare"
Best value, easiest to use, most features for the money.
I have a 7440 I bought a year ago for $269 and now Costco/Office Depot/CompUSA etc., etc. sell even better models for $179-$249. Check them out before buying anything else.

Re: Digital Camera
Oregon Scientific is a nice inexpensive camera. They have a couple under a hundred dollars. I have the 4 mega pixel, under a hundred dollars and have enjoyed it a lot. I like it because if I drop it in the water while fishing it does not hurt all that bad. Check them out, they sell them a Joes.

Re: Digital Camera
Im partial to Canon so anything in the Canon powershot line. To tell the truth Nikon vs. Canon is like Chevy vs. Ford they are both exactly the same and perform the same everybody has there opinions about either one, find one on sale that has at least 5 megapixels and you should be good to go, before you know it you will be dropping $800 on the Canon 1D or the Nikon D10 SLR's

Re: Digital Camera
Stay away from Konica Minolta cameras both on the digital and SLR markets, as they have announced that they are getting out of photography entirely.

Re: Digital Camera
I bought a Cannon A95 Power shot because a couple of my friends have the A80 models. I like the 95's because the screen flips and you cannot scratch it. My best advice is to go with a 5 megapixel or more. This way the pictures turn out great even when you enlarge them some.
thats my 2 cents

Re: Digital Camera
cannon 7.2 meg pix 500 @ costco for $350. all the reps at several costco stores were pushing that one so I bought it. I dont know a thing about digital cameras but I have come to trust consensus at costco My wife seems to like it.

Re: Digital Camera
I have a Sony p72 and have been happy with the quality of pics and have never had a problem. The newer generation Sony's are pretty much all 5 plus mp's. The reason I chose Sony was that it was the only one that did not require a special battery. If the rechargables tanked, I could use regular eveready's. I don't know if all the others still use proprietary battery's or not any more.
