Default NFL Replay Does it work?

After watching the playoffs the refs blew too many close calls. Do you think they rely on the replay to get it right?

The Polomalu interception was a horrible overturnned call. What did that whitehat watch under the hood? He must not have seen what we saw. The guys on ESPN went crazy and want the NFL to ban the whitehat for future big games? I agree!!

That INT Polomalu made was definately a botched call.... He definately had control & made a football move and I don't know what that official was looking at.....

Don't forget about the bad call in the Denver game yesterday as well on the pass interference they called on NE (Samual) against Lelee right before halftime..... That was another horrific call in a big game.....

Definately been some shotty calls thusfar....

Football is a lightening fast game that covers a lot of territory in a short amount of time. Since a referee only has one viewing angle of a split second play, usually on the run, there are naturally going to be mistakes made, they're only human! Added to this is the fact that with the close coverages, noise, and pile-ups on the field it's rare to get an unobstructed view of any play.

It would be easy to sit up in a booth with a cup of coffee and a clear view of the field, plus several cameras in front of you and make calls. But how many times have we heard theses announcers and old jocks reverse their own calls?

Instant replay does work and is necessary in the big money business of pro-sports. Now maybe if we could talk Spiderman into putting on stripes!

Instant replay works about 90% of the time to make the correct call.

That being said, I am still in favor of getting rid of it and letting the game to played in real time. I hate the delays, which can take the momentum away from one team and give it to antoher.

BTW... GO SEAHAWKS!
