Default S&W Sigma SW40VE

So I have a brother-inlaw that passed away (motorcycle accident) and now my sister is looking at getting rid of the home defender. Any ideas on the best route to take to unload this thing? It's practically brand new, a couple of clips, ammo, cleaning kit, shoulder holster, the works.
Replys or PM's welcomed.

i found this one listed on guns america. SW40VE Sigma
GA# 976593561 $350.00 This Smith & Wesson SW40VE Sigma is a semi-automatic pistol which fires the .40 s&w round. It has a two-tone stainless finish and 4" barrel. This used pistol is in excellent condition. It comes with one 14-round high capacity magazine and a hardcase.-----------this is only one price example but g/a is usually close to real value. if you can compare several weapons.

ps: i just looked at a bunch of sigma models. the price range is $299.00 to $395.00 new or used. from dealers on g/a. so $350.00 for the gun retail priced is about right. extra mags add value. on a guess at about $20.00 each for any more than two.

So how do I go about selling this thing. Do I need to find papers (if they exist) or can I just sell it or ??? This gun is practically brand new and would be willing to give someone a great deal (o.k., a better than great deal).

selling a private party gun is the same as selling a couch, take cash only.no regulations, other than selling to minors, known felons, mentally ill, drug users, or people you know have restraining orders against them.
