:depressed: Just got the Wyoming non-resident elk license draw posted. 3 to 1 odds weren't in our favor

Was really looking forward to a party hunt with son, brothers, and friend. Will try again next year . Guess this just means I'll be hunting that much harder here in WA :smile:

We drew as a party, all or none.

We may make a fishing & camping trip out of it. we could have increased our odds a little by paying $892.00 instead of the $492.00. :whazzup: But I was covering for my son too, so would have been a bit stiff on the budget.

There is always next year.....and the next....I'm only getting older. Still a few days left to try for deer or antelope [img]graemlins/idea.gif[/img]
I'm committed to hunting on public lands and without guides, nothing against guides or those that use them, just the experience I am looking for.

OK, Now I understand and I hear you on that "guide" part. I too, get just a little more gratification by doing it all myself. How about a nice fishing/camping trip up to BC? Those are fun. Good Luck next year!
