I don't know about the baton, but I should get the biggest, most gullable [img]graemlins/dork.gif[/img] award.

So here's how the morning went:
5am. My good buddy calls: "I'm sick and pucking
like crazy, sorry I'd can't go, it sucks!
5:15am. REDBULL. Oh man dude, the wife and girl
are really sick, I can't make it, I'm really sorry. yada, yada

Oops, call waiting on the cell!!!\
It's FALLRIVERGUY, Brad, you're not going to beleive it, I have a flat tire. I'll have to cancel. Nope call me when changed and I'll come back to the dock and get you.
5:45am SAFETY CHAIN
You won't believe it, I lost my transfer case,
flux capacitor, some freakin thing like that on the way to your house.

My loving wife convinced me to go back to bed where I lay there pondering If I am just not the legend in my mind I thought I was.
Around noon a bunch of friends show up, and I'm like. What the heck is this.
SURPRISE!!!! A day of wine tasting with 16 of your best friends. Buddy #1 says:
DID you really think 4 guys would cancel on you, you big dummmy! Ha, ha! God was I SO DUPED by the
team mates, by oregonredside who knew all this when I called to whine about my bad luck.
lilnorthfork who knew when I called his cell at 6am to beg him to fish with me.
I guess a guy gets to be slow at 40!!!
HAd a fantastic day in wine country,
Came home to find 60 of the most amazing wonderful friends a guy could ever have. I was truely touched by it all. Great to see
kodiakfisher, riverkeeper, Lilforkhead, and redbull make it to.
WOW what a day, and what a job everyone did to pull off the scam this way.

Oh well, maybe when I turn forty. I spent the day with team cranky which definately lived up to its nick name. [img]graemlins/eek13.gif[/img] The captain (TV) was grumpy after I almost fell in the water pulling anchor, but that wasn't my fault, Kruechief was gettin crazy with the smelly jelly and it was all over the deck. :blush: Can you say slippery? But then again if someone else would have helped with the anchor on occasion then maybe it would have gone a little better. I shouldn't complain, I didn't come through with the bait that I was supposed to bring. Bad karma, I guess. Willierower caught an oversized so he was the only one that had a smile during the coldfronts moving through the area. :grin: It was good to see some of my ifisher friends and I want to thank Bernie for setting up the whole shindig.
