Default Thankyou Sara Brady

When I was growing up, my dad always had rifles and shotguns to keep a young boy entertained, but no handguns. Then in the late eighties when HANDGUN CONTROL was making waves I purchased my first one. If they (HC) hadn't been making such a fuss, I probably would still not own one. Quite frankly, I was intimidated by them, having had no experience. Now that I've practiced and have become comfortable with handguns, the pleasure derived frome target shooting has been "priceless". I own several. Thanks again Sara.

I went to a "Gun Show" a few years ago and bought a SKS for the same reasons. Bill Clinton and the rest were in hot pursuit of gun banning. When I showed it to my dad he thought it was pretty cool, but my mom freaked out. She wanted to know why I needed an "assault weapon". I told her that I had been a good boy with no trips to jail and I was a law abiding citizen and the government says that I can have one. So I got it. I was 30 yrs old @ the time. Since then I have added a few more guns to my collection.

Good ole Sarah,
I have a few choice words for her.But I'm glad that you went out and bought your weapons as an in the face statemnt.
The women has an agenda that everybody better watch out for.She aint done yet.
If you belong to NRA you know that Clintons gun laws are set to fade into the past.Unless they are renewed.Fortunately we have groups like the NRA to help fight the nonsensical gun controls, that Sarah, and her buddy Slick Willy helped to get into place. There are a lot of others out there trying to extend the gun bans. And in fact make them even more restricting.

Reps John Conyers(D-MI),Carolyn Mcarthy(D-NY),) Have introduced H.R. 2038 that would restrict the public from owning millions more firearms.Invcluding every semi auto shotgun on the market.
This months American Hunter has some good info on the Clinton gun bans.Check out www.ClintonGunBans.comThere is a lot of interesting info there.

Fortunately we have organizations like NRA to help protect our rights.

I hope everybody is doing what they can to help fight the battle against gun control.

Did you know that the Brady bill was made retro-active.You can be prevented from owning a firearm even if you committed a misdeameanor before the laws went into effect in 1992.(I think thats the right year). There are millions of people out there breaking the law by owning or using a firearm.Whether for hunting, protection or sport.AND DONT EVEN KNOW IT.You may be surprised. It could be even you.You might not know it till a game warden or police officer runs a check on you for some reason while your out hunting. Then you could be charged with felony possession of a firearm.I realize this is an extreme example. But it could happen easier than you think.

Please help protect our rights.
Rick

An SKS is an assault weapon? Only a woman would consider that an assault weapon. No offense to women who know their weapons. I can't wait till they label my air rifle or my Brown Bess musket an assault weapon.

If the politicians want to make a difference in the country what they need to do is pass a law that keeps Kennedy, Nadler, and several other politicians away from sandwiches. They are eating up the world food supply and the taxpayers pay for their free medical care.
