Great Mexican Food
My wife and I have been going to 2Margarita's in Sandy, used to be Denny's. We have had breakfast, lunch and dinner and it has been Good Eats every time.

Re: Great Mexican Food
I agree! I went there last Thursday for lunch. Before that, I only tried the dinner menu. I'd sell my soul for good Mexican food!

Re: Great Mexican Food
we recently tried santa fe in beaverton (good food, good view of [petunias!]). really excellent for a chain. tortillas are cooked fresh right in front of you. nice big margaritas for those who are off the wagon at the moment. not up to paco's standards, but those days are loooooong gone.

Re: Great Mexican Food
I love Ponchos tostada salads. Margaritas are to die for. Double on the rocks with salt! Had a location close to home in Hillsdale and closed. Really bummed me out. They still have one out on Sandy Blvd. Been around for many many years. They actually butter and roast thier corn chips....yum!

The best authentic Mexican food I ever had is at mi casa in Ogden Utah. But sometimes we get in mi caro and go out to eat.

Re: Great Mexican Food
We've been enjoying Yeatsey's in Lake Oswego especially the Pollo Alfonso - chicken cooked in chili butter (Riverliver posted a simular dish in the recipes section) - their salsa is worth the price of admission alone - also the first place I've ever like beans.

Re: Great Mexican Food
Luis's Taqueria on Front in Woodburn. It doesn't get more authentic. It's by far the best taqueria in town. The carnitas rock. The carne asada is the only thing I wouldn't order again, it is fried rather than grilled.
Right next door is a sit down resteraunt that is incrdible. Each meal is made from scratch by mamasita. It take a while to get your meal but it's worth it... the camerones are fresh, whole and huge. Order a pitcher of margaritas and enjoy the slow pace of a fine mexican meal.

Re: Great Mexican Food
There are a couple of places in Hillsboro that are both authentic and really good: Peppers Mexican Grill and Taqueria Ochoa.
