Default Crabbing Report

There was a small window to go out yesterday. So, I went down to Waldport with some friends. We crabbed 2 hours before high to the change and ended up with 3 limits. It was nice to get on the water.

Nice haul Walt. Surprisingly good news considering all the fresh water in the bays.

I need to get me a batch of those bottom feeding vultures.

Thanks for the report.

Thanks for the report Walt, I had the bearings go out on my pump, just got it running again today. I was thinking about going tomorrow to try it out.

Thanks again,
Jerry

Greg, The water was still dirty but not brown. It had not rained for a few days and there had been some real big tides that helped too. The tide last night did not have a big change either. We were out by the mouth and the only ones out there so there was no competition. There are some that will come in on the tides. I doubt we would have done as well if there were more boats. We really got dumped on yesterday and today so it is prpbably pretty muddy again. Good luck if you go tomorrow Jerry.
