Default new guy

Hey my name is nic iam 15 years old. The 2nd to the last day of duck season i went out with my dad and the best hunting guid in Aloha High Schoo hahahaha. The day was going really good we had 5 ducks in the pot. The guide dident want to shoot a pintail because of the numbers but he said i could if i wanted to and he would back me up if it even droped a leg. I was calling at some pintail and they turened, but at the same time a duck landed in the deycoys. My dad wanted me to shoot first but at the same time the pintail came in range behind the blind where he couldent see them. I stood up and shot at the pintail and droped it in one shot. At the same time my dad thaught i shout at the duck in the deycoys so he shot and missted so bad that the duck hade time to wave back to him (seabass).
I went out to the pintail and got it and i looked at the leg and it had a band. I was so excited that i got a banded pintail. We put it in a bag and took it hame. Now it is in the frezer and i am looking for a good taxidermist that will do a good job.

*The guide that i went with was not really a guide he is a High school Woodshop teacher that my dad is frends with. But it was a great hunting spot.

Thanks for taking ue to your spot and leting us hunt we really injoyed it. But we need to take you to our goose spot

Great story. I was happy to be the "guide". And again congrats on your banded Pintail. Banded birds are far and few between here in the valley, or anywhere else for that matter!

Little Hunter set up his starling decoys and hunted from his bedroom window this weekend. Some of the things he learns on Ifish.
