Default jewell wilderness area elk feeding??

I heard that they are still doing there wagon trip deal where you used to be able to arange to go out on the wagon and feed the elk?? do any of you know if this is still going on? my son and daughter would freak seeing that many huge elk!

I looked on line and could not find any info??

Jewel is a fun place to visit none the less we do it every year but a wagon feeding trip would be fun

Far as i know they are still doing it, BUT the waiting list is HUGE!!! .....Heard you gotta sign up in feb or jan before you go in.

All i know is i'd like to go pick up shed's out of Jewell !!!

ok here is what I found out. the sighn up is full on the first day which is on december 1 if you want to ry and get on the wagon thing.it can be done but it is very difficult. the guy said that they started feeding the elk much closer to the viewing area then in years past and the elk have been out every day in big numbers well over 100 since december. so the chance to see them is great but to sighn up is hard.
