Identify this act
I was cleaning up some folders on my puter yesterday and came across these. I had to sit back and chuckle a little. Can anyone guess what's going on here? I'll post an explanation soon.
Act 1
Act 2

Re: Identify this act
My guess is that the skull cap has attracted yellow jackets into camp and its being moved away?

Re: Identify this act

Re: Identify this act
Bravo!!
Way to much "been there, done that" going on here to stump anyone.
Indeed, the spike skull was left out for the yellowjackets to clean-up. In only a day I would guess they cleaned a couple pounds of meat off this thing. Came time to pack up and go home when we faced the "how we gonna get that thing from the yellowjackets?" dilema.
I took this bull in a spike/cow only area in WA (Collockum archery). It was a challenge to have faith in my knowledge of the regs for spike only (note the fork on the left side). I remember thinking "Man, I sure hope I'm right about this..."
Next, hunting grouse from a treestand...

Re: Identify this act
Took me just a few seconds to figger this one. I'm very familiar with the nasty little buggers and slightly allergic to them.
I wish I had pix of the time I dumped a ruffed grouse smack dab on a nest of them.
I had a "friend" sitting in my truck watching me "do the dance". Helpful chap that he was, he just rolled up the window and turned the radio up to muffle the screams.....

Re: Identify this act
A special dance to convince neighbooring campers that it was time to pack up?

Re: Identify this act
It was a very SPECIAL dance for sure, no campers around though. By the time I got the first tell tale sting they were piled up in my hair, inside my clothing etc.
I think I'll call it the Wallowa Hornet break dance boogie....
