Default Time for a Mystery Pic?

This should be fairly easy for some of you deer and elk hunter's. What mountain top was I sitting on when I took this photo during archery season of 1984?

For bonus points, name the rock formation on the ridgeline above and to the right of the No.7 snowfield.

Way too easy!

A couple of day's after the photo was taken and airplane began buzzing the high country in the Strawberry Wilderness. We bumped into a USFS guy a day or two later and asked what all the noise was about. Some guy from Prairie City was backpacking up on that ridge and had leaned over the Rabbit Ears to look around and lost his balance. He plunged headfirst into some rock's a couple hundred feet below. They finally spotted his blue backpack in a crevice.

sliverpicker,

Is this from the north of Rabbit Ears? That is some beautiful country. I haven't seen it before the fire, do you have any more pictures?

I haven't seen it much before the fire, either. I'd love to see more from Strawberry.

Texan...that is the north side of the Rabbit Ears, the basin in the pic is above Little Strawberry Lake.

I should have some more pics from way back when, might have to dig around to find them though. I'll see what I can find!
