Going to a boat show could be dangerous for me. Fortunatly for me Tom, I can't go to the one in Seattle this weekend.

BTW, just got Cindy Lou back from the detailer and she looks outstanding and is ready to get all slimmy all over again. Now for those pesky leaks I was talking about.

Thanks for the heads up, Tom. I'll be up there shopping for something a little bigger than my 20'.

Is it common for the PDX and Seattle boat shows to run concurrently? I went to both in 04 and they were weeks apart--or at least that's how I remember it.

The Seattle Boat show got moved up a week at the last minute due the SeaHawks needing the parking space at the convention center for upcoming games.

Ok I just got back from the show! There are some booths that do not have people in them because of the time change. I did get my garmin question answered but to be honest unless I was looking for a new boat or electronics is it worth it? I think I get much more information here on ifish than I could ever hope to get at the show. I still dont have two footitis yet so the boats just dont get me going. I guess I am haqppy with what I got. What would get me going is if they had a water warmer and calmer that could get us fishing sooner around here!

Mike, I'm going up Thursday and Friday. Are you headed up? I'll probably hit the PDX show on the way back to town.

Just got back from the Seattle Boat show. Not many crowds of people. Maybe they did not get the word of the date changes. Lost of new style boats from this year. It looks like the manufactures changed the design of a few models for the better!!

FYI, as for electronics, Boater's World had the best boat show discounts on electronics.

Love Seasports, but the Offshore 30 finish work looked like crap this year. Last year the one I saw had beautiful teak finish and this year it was a marine plywood. Maybe the teak is an upgrade?

Ever seen an Ocean Sport Roamer 30? Talk about dreamy...
