Default Chronic wasting disease

This sounds like good news to me. ODFW didn't seem to eager to have the head of my cow from this year, but the outlook is good from the article. No evidence of chronic wasting disease

Default Re: Chronic wasting disease

And maybe the cold will zap the mites that cause hair-loss syndrome in our Cascade and Coastal deer herds.

Speaking of the cold though, it seems that the heavy snow and cold weather has been pretty tough on the eastern deer population. The only good part is that maybe the watering holes will fill back up from the snow melt this spring. It was getting awfully dry out there.

The pendulum swings - taking some and leaving some.
