Man, I missed 3 of 'em! Guess I better leave them grizzle b'ars alone.

I wish we could find one like that for waterfowl. Legal shooting time ain't always positive identification time.

100%

Between guiding bears in Montana and fisherman in Alaska, have had plenty of encounters with both species, sometimes closer than I would have liked. There's more griz in Montana (outside of the parks that is) than most people would believe. We hunted a small wilderness area outside of Missoula and had numerous griz sightings. Most of the hunters wouldn't believe you until the characteristics like the hump and dished face were pointed out.

Well guys I'm fit'n right in. My 13 year old son and I took this test and he/we scored 14 of 15. We missed #14 along with a few of you. This is a fun test and good thought for young hunters.

#15 threw me. That is a black bear pictured...but the question was "is this a black bear cub?" when the definition given for Wyoming black bear cubs are bears under one year of age. That bear looks like a 2 year old
