Re: SI 1-1-06 whos going
Just got word from a buddy that the water is 4 feet higher than it was on Thursday.
Bring a boat indeed!

Is it high enough to get out to HP from the West Side launch on Mud?

Re: SI 1-1-06 whos going
Man trust me, theres maybe 2 or 3 blinds you can hunt without a boat. Mudlake 12,13,14... and Im not sure if 13 or 14 is even huntable right now either. Save yourself the trouble and hook up with someone that has a boat. Ask Swamp Puppy how deep it was today, he'll tell ya.

Re: SI 1-1-06 whos going
ML 13 will probably be out of the question without a boat. I hunted it Thursday and I was at the top of my chest waders pulling dekes at noon ( hight tide). You might not be able to get to the blind.

Re: SI 1-1-06 whos going
Lured In - on saturday when we were out they were letting people out to HP with boats. you can cross over where Mud #11 is (used to be...lol)
as for the rest..mud lake is out of the question without a boat. in fact, as far as i know, if you didn't have a boat they wouldn't even let you pick a ML blind.
12,13,14 you might have been able to walk to, but supposedly the water was too deep to set dekes.
just as a point of reference...we were forced to hunt out of our boat at ML#11 on saturday. the water was approx. 5ft deep where the blind normally is and there was nowhere on that stretch of "land" between ML and Sturgeon lake where we could have gotten out of the boat without it being over our waders.
