Lab stud needed!
My grandfather has a 8 year old black lab that he is going to breed on the next cylcle. She is a large blocky head dog,~110lbs, and is tenaciously birdy. She is of course akc registered and has had her hips certified as "excellent", she also had 1 other liter a couple of years ago.
She should be coming in next month and he prefers the stud taking pick of the litter. Let me know if your boy is interested.

Re: Lab stud needed!
What kind of lines are they looking for? I have a Choc. lab but he is 100 percent field trial stock.
Tyson wanted to get his picture up to so here he is.
Here is a link to Tyson's Sires pedigree

Re: Lab stud needed!
OK, since we're having a beauty contest  , here's my dog...Pedigree is available - many MH, AFC, CFC, FC titles in lines. He's one handsome boy - about 75 pounds lean. He's studded several litters over the past few years. Let's just say he's experienced and doesn't need a lot of coaching  . I bred him to my female and my female didn't take to the process too well. They only hooked up once - that's all it took - 9 weeks later, 8 pups. So he's definitely got the ammo  . I have references. I would need a vet's cert for a recent negative brucellosis test.

Re: Lab stud needed!
Be carefull! Make sure you get xrays for hips and get the eyes certified. Go back several generations on the papers and don't be shy about calling owners of all dogs in the papers. Most people will be glad to tell you history on there dogs. If someone gets to pushy ,run . I have a yellow lab . The first time we bread her I turned down six studs before we got the right one. good luck. dave

Re: Lab stud needed!
Stickfish,
I had a yellow Lab named Tucker that looked just like him when I was down in Texas. My dog was only a pup but was very light color like yours. Some jerk Stole him out of a friends car(Allegedly) when I was on a buisness trip. Saw the picture and the name of your dog and it just made me remember my long lost buddy who would be around 3. :depressed: Nice looking dog you got there give him a hug for me.

Re: Lab stud needed!
He gets hugs daily and sorry to hear about your Tucker. Tucker has fit into his name nicely. Each night he hoppes into bed with each of the kids to "Tuck" them in. Our Tucker is going to be 1 in about three weeks. When we first got him he was almost all white. The yellow blend came along as his puppy fuzz gave away to his adult coat (he is a dead ringer for his dad personality and looks wise. We picked him as a family dog and not a hunter so we went mid scale on the pack social standing with him and he is a great family dog, not shy, not over-powering. If your looking for a new dog let me know and I can pass the breader info along he has several different ******* and several different studs. Tucker came from Francie and Champ. It's quite a coincidence we both have going on here, Boedy was on our name list and was #2 behind Tucker.

Re: Lab stud needed!
Nope, Gresham. Not sure where Tucker's dad came from. The breeder picked him up from someone whow had a white lab male. Champ isn't quite 100% white, but he is a looker. Tucker and champ are both about dead ringers for each other. I'll PM the breeder details to anyone, just don't want them getting removed because of his non-sponsor status IYKWIM.
About the only difference between Tucker and his dad (I hate the word stud), is that Champs head is a bit bigger. Tucker's mom (I hate the word ***** too) had a smaller head so he got that. But the eyes, face, expressions, picky eating, quiet manner around the house (matter of fact where is he ?)
Tucker is 22 1/2" tall at the sholder, his head is about 10" long, and about 6" wide and from nose to tail root he is approx 33", he weighs 64lbs and is 50 weeks old today Jan 31.
Gosh I guess I like my pup!
