Default Rod holder mounting

I just purchased a fishrite boat and want to mount rod holders with out drilling into the boat rail. I have considered welding some brackets to bolt to, but I am not sure yet.

If you have rubber unirail, Willie sells some sliding brackets that you can mount your bases to.

No uni-rail just the rail on top of the gunnel. It appears to be a 1" x 2" piece of aluminum on top of the sides of the boat.

You might take a look at the motion marine adapters and see if they'll work. GI Joes sells them.

Can you send or post a picture? I have a few ideas. Rod holders correct? Not rocket launchers?

Here is a link to the boat that I bought. If you look at the right side you can see how the rail is. You are correct, rod holders not rocket launchers.

On my old sled I bought a section of uni-rail from willie and bolted it on.I then could slide the holders wherever I wanted them.
