Last week ducks

We had a pretty good hunt last Wed up on the island. I'm a little slow with getting pictures up though. The day started off really slow, which led to some teal wishing we weren't there, as well as some of those "other" ducks

, Eric keeps trying to forget his... Then we decided to hold out and ended up shooting 4 more mallards one teal and 2 pinnies to close out our limits.

Rob got a nice big greenhead at 3:55 to finish us up, great timing.

Only my second time to SI and we have all limited both days, and had a great time doing it! It's closer than Summer Lake too!

). Don't get too cocky about success at SI or you'll jinx us for sure!

Hunt'nFish: Yeah, Rob took that pic. I'd post up a pic w/Rob in it but the fellow behind the camera, cough***QA*** cough, was breathin so hard it was all foggy. :tongue:
