Default Mmmm, elk chili

I haven't posted on the hunting board yet, cause I don't hunt, but a friend gave me some ground elk meat and I made a big pot of elk chili with it and man was that good!!! I went back for 3rds. That should keep the wife warm under the sheets tonite.

I still have a small roast. Any good elk recipies to share?

Try slow cooking the roast in a crock-pot, maybe cut up some carrots and Potatos and add with it.

Forget the crock pot it dries the meat.
Try a pressure cooker, brown on all sides, add stock, onions, etc, 10 lbs for 35 minutes. The best.
