Default First time at SW

I got a gift card for SW, so I stopped there in Salem on my home from the trip yesterday. My first time there!

All I can say is: OHMYGOD!

I was the shipping and recieving manager(facilitator/grunt) for Andersons Sporting goods nearly three decades ago.

I can't imagine how they do that now...Unbelieveable!

If I wasn't hungry and had to get somehwere else soon, I would have spent another three hours in there.

WOW! Quite a culture shock for an isolated coastal country boy!

Snakebite,
If you were impressed by SW you should go to a Cabella's some time if you ever get the chance. I went to my first one this last summer while in Texas (Budda Texas of all places), it was like a SW store on steroids. It was easily 10 times the size of our SW store...........most impressive.

it's like men's shopping heaven i guess. I go to the one out in Clackamas, I just like looking over the gun wall and wishing my pocket was so empty, but as sooon as I get a good bit of cash, I ll be getting a few new toys to add to the collection. All ready got a ak-47 that i could put some money into, got a Ruger superblackhawk .44mag(dirty harry), and my best killer or all a remington 30-06 pump got me a forkie deer and forkie elk this year. Something new never hurts though, right?.
