Default Pig Guide?

My dad was remarking the other day that it would be fun to go feral pig hunting. Hey! That sounds like fun to me!

Do you guys have any recommendations on a hunting guide that could take the two of us out for a day of feral pig hunting someplace within about four hours drive from Corvallis?

Hey Mark.

I've been thinking about Feral Pig hunting too. Something to do when all the other big game seasons are over. But, I'm having a difficult time finding anything out about it. Surely hope someone on ifish can give us some info, or at least a lead to where we can get some info. I would hope we could do it without a guide....I'll be watching your post intently to see what comes up. Maybe we could hook up for a hunt together.

Doug

I heard that the ranchers around lapine were having some wild pig problems. maybe contact the dechutes county sherrifs office, or their local F&W offices for some possible info.... this info is second hand, so I`m not sure about its validity, but it is what I heard.

Look up California fish and game . They can fill you in. That is the state with the Hogs

Don't waste your time over or around Post Oregon, been there done it, and not going back.

The hunts they have in California, northern part, can be the trick. Good luck on your search.

Check out the new issue or Oregon Hunter Magazine. There is an article about pigs in California, but there is also some information about pigs in Oregon.
