Default Cougar check in stations

I use to by my cougar tag, but I have been detoured by the fact that you have to take them into a check out station within a certain number of days and all that. I was wondering what peoples experiences with this thus far have been. Is it a big hassle, or am I making too big of a deal about it?

I was at a check station when a cat was brought in. It didn't seem like any big deal although I really wasn't paying too much attention. Why don't you just call and ask what all has to take place?

I believe they take an eye tooth out and place an aluminum tag in the pelt. They probably ask where it was taken and when.

Don't forget the reproductive tract!!---- It's in the regs.--In other words-take everything that even looks like it might have something to do with sex.
