Default Anyone interested in Chukar Hunting Tomorrow?

I’m headed towards Maupin tomorrow for a quick day hunt before the family comes over for the holiday. Anyone interested in joining?

Sounds like a great offer but I already have plans for a waterfowl hunt on the island. Maybe some other time. Kris

I was there a little over a month ago. I killed all of the chukars.

Seriously though, I found most of the birds in max canyon. They were also having pretty good success on the road between Maupin and Shearar's Falls (up in the hills of course).

Have a great time walking up and down.

I would love to be hunting chukars tomorrow but I am gonna have to leave them to you. Post up some pics it there are a few unlucky ones that get to ride home with you. They are by far one of my favorite birds to pursue. They are a hard earned great meal for sure. Good luck to ya.

Well I heard alot of birds, just couldn't get to them. There's alot of snow still on the ground, and all the birds were hung-up in the rimrock above the road. I saw more pheasant on HW 216 then I have ever seen. They, of couse know I couldn't shoot them and let me walk right up and get some great photos. I'll post them when I get them downloaded. I'm always looking for hunting partners, so i will post another message next time i go.

Merry Christmas!
