With "Thee Dave Smith" and Mr. Bates how could you go wrong?
Congrats on a great hunt!

Congrats on a great hunt! The smile says it all.

Pretty fun to watch those birds work, isn't it.

Man Keeper...you got some nice camo...

Annie's gonna kick my but when she sees those pics...I'm gonna have to make a trip to the outlet store...LOL.

Looks like a great combo hunt...were those ducks coming into the field? Also..is there a collar on one of those middle geese...it looks like one and I thought i remember you saying you guys got one that day .

You are making me happy with all these pictures! Heck of a good post!!!

I confess, I have the nicest camo in the house! I also have the nicest gun. I am pretty sure somebody at my house likes me.

Good eyes...white collar and combo trip. We started with hunting ducks in some sheet water and then moved over in the field for geese. We still had ducks flying by in range and the next thing we knew someone, not mentioning any names but he makes DSD's, was blasting them!

Sounds to me like the husband and the wife know how to keep the peace in the household.

Great pics and story Keeper!

Awesome story, I love the dress of the day too.

My wife said she'd go hunting with me, as long as I didn't kill anything . I don't see the point. My little girl asked me the other day how old she had to be to get her hunting license so she could go with me.

Keeper - I thought you were cleaning house?

It was a fun hunt, My friend Gary, who took the picture also got his first Geese that day (& a Merganser!!!, sorry Gary ,I couldn't resist)

BTW, Jon, the ducks were landing in sheet water behind us, but they would swing around to look at the GHG field Mallards we had out. AND, it was a faded yellow collar (Tim got it ). I guess Keeper needs to go back and read the Goose pamphlet again!!!

I guess I should go finish my Christmas shopping

Merry Christmas ALL!!
