"Southern Illinois Slaughter"

Howdy (that there is proper for hello) :grin:

WHOOO HOOOOO...2 weeks away from work in Hillsboro and 2 weeks back home with the family here in Southern IL.

I arrived here Saturday and I finally got my hunting license today. Thus begins what i'm calling my "Southern Illinois Slaughter." Look out rabbits, bobwhite quail, & racoons...you're all in trouble! Racoons??? YES!! For those of you who've never hunted them, they're a blast to hunt. Nothing like listening to a pair of walker hounds, red ticks, or red bones sitting at the bottom of a tree with their heads to the sky bellowing out a sweet sweet melody (insert "Deliverance" song here )

I'll try to report and post some pics when I can. Oh boy am I excited! Excuse me while I dance

Yeah, eventually i'll have to come back, but not until Sunday the 18th!! Until then, it's VACATION!!!!!!!
