Work needed
I just got in last night. I have been on Military orders since August 1st. I am looking for work I have experience in Machining (manual and CNC), Welding (all forms, Air Force and Navy trained)Purchasing, Building maintenance. I can start work the second week in Janurary. I haven't seen the family, I need to spend time with them. I am an avid hunter and fisherman I can hook up the right boss with private property to hunt on (Idaho) and a secret spot for fall chinook. You have to be a cool boss though or no deal!! Any leads would be appreciated! Thanks!!

Re: Work needed
Have not heard a word, which is probobly a good thing.
Theres a bunch of cnc/lathe/welding gigs on graigslist, check 'em out. Some are east side. Im sure theres lots more out there. Good luck. I take it youll be home for a while? Ill be your neighbor in a couple weeks and I seem to remember you could use a little help putting some miles on that pretty boice barge of yours. Ill be happy to help you out with that...Hey what are friends are for right? Hows Sammy doin?

Re: Work needed
The Boice will be here this spring. Sammi is doing great, he lives at a fellow ifishers house in the Banks area. He has acreage to cruise around on and a cat that tolerates him from what I understand.

Re: Work needed
Troy, Yea I was retired. One of our investment companies is being investigated for securities fraud. The money I have with them may be lost. I am preparing for worse case scenerio. I can honestly say that I sort of miss the weekly work routine. I have to figure out how to get time off for hunting and fishing. I guess thats everybodies problem. I did alot of welding and some machining on aircraft parts. TIG welding aluminum is my favorite pass time. Go punch a hole in your boat, I will help patch it up. Once I get my own welder I will let it be known I can fix aluminum along with other metals. Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas to you and your family! Thank you for service and the sacrifice that you made. I remember your post when you shipped out and I am glad you are back! If you are ever down around Corvallis and need a cold one, let me know!
