Default King Kong movie review

I just got back from seeing King Kong. This was the best adventure movie I’ve seen since Raiders of the Lost Ark. It was a good old-fashioned movie with incredible sets, a good story, and almost non-stop edge-of-your-seat action. And Naomi Watts, what a drop dead knockout!

I’ve seen the previews on the TV screen, and if there were ever a movie that was not made for the small screen, this movie is a prime example. On a TV screen it looks hokey – on the big screen it was awesome! Don’t wait until this one comes out on DVD to see it.

It was a pretty long movie (3 hrs?). About two hours into it, I was sure wishing I hadn’t drunk that 32 ounce Dr. Pepper!

This was the movie peter jackson really wanted to make before the lord of the rings.

What else would you expect from a peter jackson film?

I thought it was just okay. Although that may be because i was seeing things from having to go to the bathroom so bad. The extra 0.25 cents for the large drink sounded good at the time.

I thought the movie was awesome
It was a bit weird to watch Jack Black play something other than the funny guy but it was a great movie.

Saw it with my oldest daughter and my brother visiting from Alaska.

Gave it a thumbs up.... way up for the special effects and action scenes. The reptilian scenes were incredible.... and the bug scenes literally mad you want to crawl out of your skin.

A must see for fictional action/adventure fans!
