Default Too wet duck calls

Anybody got any tricks on how to keep the duck calls from getting sopping wet from condensation. Outside of not using them for a duck call.....
Seems like after about an hour of on-demand calling, I have to take the call apart and wipe it down to avoid the laughing monkey or astmatic pigeon calls.

Use two calls and shake them out after using them.

If your necklace does not try to strangle you at least 3 times a day, you need more calls. Find one you like, and buy 2.

I hunt with a whistle( for when I want to kill ducks and not call at them). 2 double reeds for close in work. And a single reed that I can't blow well...yet.

Happy shopping.

Yup, alternate two calls and dry em' between birds. I have heard that putting a little rain-x on the tone board under the reed might help the sticking problem but, haven't tried it, yet.

If you cant stop blowing spit into it stay away from double reed calls, but better yet learn to control the moisture you are blowing into it.

When you inhale while calling hard get in the habit of lifting your tongue so the underside of it dries slightly, makes a huge difference in the amount of moisture you are blowing into it. Hard to get into that habit but worth every bit of time once you get it down.

Thanks for pointers everyone!! Taking my daughter out to SI this weekend for her first duck hunt. She got picked for racetrack so I'm hoping I can teach her how to clean them as well as shoot'em.
