Portland RV Show

So this is my first time attending this show, I had posted a tread a while back about first timer RV buying what to look for and what not to do... Just wondering if anyone has been there and bought from the show? likes or dislikes? Are there actually better deals at the show? Do they throw in some extra's? I am looking for about a 25-28ft model probably with bunks for two daughters.

I've never bought from one of the shows so I can't help you there.....

Some advice however, learn what to look for and buy used...............

Lots of good RV's out there people buy and then a couple years later after they've only used it a few times decide it's not for them. Good savings for the buyer...................

Not saying there arn't any good buys on new ones but there are also a lot of nice used ones out there as well.

A couple years ago my wife and I were looking at buying about the same thing you are (25-28 ft. bunkhouse trailer) and we looked at many used ones that were in really nice shape. We just didn't pull the trigger and buy as our situation regarding an RV has changed. We also looked at a ton of new trailers, and the one thing I got out of all that looking around I did was that I could save some serious cash buying used. The other thing I learned was that I needed to educate myself on what things to look for in buying used so I didn't get taken for buying someone elses problem(s).
