I've got Free Willy's. PM me for the number. They're at the ramp in Hammond.
I know the old gal you're talking about, just don't remember the name of her store.
(Please, no non sponsor contact info. Thanks, Jen)

Re: what's the name/# for the bait shop in hammond
Another option is Bud's Campground in Gearhart. 1/4 mile North from main gearlhart intersection on left.
I often like to pick up the fresh Herring @ Bud's and sprinkle a little rock salt on these freshies, just to tighten them up a little, holds scales and makes them a little less fragile.
Seems to work on the fresh and mix in some frozen as well.
good luck.

Re: what's the name/# for the bait shop in hammond
nope, not free willy's. It's a small shop on the left before you reach the intersection where you turn right to get to the hammond ramp. I can reserve from FW, but this gal just cracks me up. Worth the stop in.

Re: what's the name/# for the bait shop in hammond
You talking about the gift shop one before the intersection, not at the intersection right?
yeah she is a little strange but she is sure worth the price of admission. Last week we stopped there to see if they had any chovies in case we needed something to get the silvers to bite. She was like, why are you using them, they dont work, big chinook dont bite them.
Sorry cant help with the number. Prices are about the same as FW.

Re: what's the name/# for the bait shop in hammond
Until I figure out how to change the rules and upset the balance of things, we ask please, that you not post contact information for non sponsors.
I'm really sorry, but that's just the way it is, right now.
So, ask people to PM you the info, OK?

Do GI Joes and Fisherman's have outlets in the Hammond area?

Re: what's the name/# for the bait shop in hammond
No Fastwater, they don't.
However, you have a really neat o and free feature from ifish, called "Private messages"
They work, really well, and well... They are free!
I know this seems really trivial, and I'd love to just post the numbers and be done with it. It would be SO much easier for me, too!
The problem lies in the fact that the ones that aren't trivial, and are honestly trying to get their contact out there to advertise, have to be under the same rules. I have to at least TRY to be consistent.
Try, I do. Make people upset? Yip. I'm sorry. Those are the rules, and until I come up with something better, that's the way it is.
Sponsors get contact info for supporting the board.
Until then, PM me the number for Rosalie. She's a hoot and one darn good friend of mine!!!
Jen
