Foster/Green Peter water levels?
Anyone been to Foster or Green Peter the last day or 2 and can give me a lake level report? Want to go run our 20' glass boat prior to selling it after its recent tuneup. How are the ramps?
Thanks!

Re: Foster/Green Peter water levels?
Thanks for that link! If I read it right, then Green Peter is only 9 feet (1015 minus 1006) below capacity currently. Foster is 27 feet below (641 minus 614) capacity. If so, then Green Peter ramps should easily be do-able.

Try this site
www.state.or.us:8080/webramp/rampchart.jsp?water=Green%20Peter (don't know how to directly copy a site name)
It shows GP at 981 feet. This makes only the Thistle Creek ramp really usable.
Hope that site works for you

Re: Foster/Green Peter water levels?
Sorry. Website didn't come up when I tried it. It's on the Oregon State Marine Board website, though. You might have to search a little bit there for it.

Re: Foster/Green Peter water levels?
I was up there on monday, didnt see any of the ramps but there was a lot of shoreline at green peter and no shoreline at foster, i would say foster is definately doable and green peter is a lot higher than it has been in years past so its probably good to go also

Here is a website with pictures of Thistle Creek at different water levels. I came across this page a few years back. It is great for those who want the visualization.

Sliderite,
Thank you for posting the Thistle Creek boat ramp photos link and also the continuing information which can be accessed off that link! I find all the information very helpful to this newcomer to Kokanee fishing.

This is very close to how the Thistle Creek ramp looked yesterday when we launched our 20' glass i/o. Very usable ramp and lake was beautiful with only 5 other boats fishing. Too bad the shift lever cable broke and we had to rely on the kicker...
Did catch a couple of little fishies (1 koke and 1 fin clipped salmon), so all was not lost!
