Default JET TROLL custom steering systems

I tried to get on thier web site. Anybody out in IFISH land know about these? It is a bracket that attaches jet steering linkage to your kicker. Trying to get application info. and prices.

I don't know about JET TROLL, but I have EZ Steer. It works well and is about $100 or so depending on application. They are in Everett, WA.

I was going to order one for my sportjet, but after talking to them decided not to. The reason for this was because the sportjet application limited the kickers steering range to a total of 5-6 inches. This is not acceptable especially at Bouy 10.

How funny! While perusing STS last night I saw their add, and the sportjet application perked my interest. I too tried the website and it was not user friendly. I had a EZ steer on my last boat and it worked great, but with the sportjet it's not applicable. I know alot of folks love the TR1 but I was looking to save a few grand, so any jettroll info would be appreciated.

I talked to the guy at jet troll a few months ago and he sent me pictures for my application(american turbine). Just call him up and he will be very informative. I think he quoted me $250.00. There is another outfit called Levincy that can be searched on the web but they are around $500.00.

I've used the EZ Steer and now a TR-1. The EZ Steer is great, but only works on AT or Marine Power pumps. I researched the Jet Trolls and I believe they require an approx. 1" x 6" slot be cut in the stern just above the swim platform. Not something I would do. I would invest in a TR-1 if I had a pump that wouldn't work with an EZ Steer.

I have seen pictures of the jet troll on a boat. The hole is cut on the top of the stern. It looked factory the way it was done. It looks like it would work good. But you never know. I dont like drilling holes in a new boat but I think I am going to try it out. The web site was working a couple of week ago I dont know whats up with it now.
