Default Anchor Chain

Does anyone have or know of a good source for scrap chain? I have a new drift boat and need to make an anchor.

Shakey,
You might try using old tire chains if they are available. They work good.

We have an industrial supply called Pacific Industrial, they have lots of achoring equipment at wholesale prices. Not sure where you live but check the yellow pages or the web.

Go to a auto junk yard and buy some old tire chain. Makes a real good anchor for a drift boat. Tie in a bundle and use like any anchor.

Shakey, I've got some old truck tire chains. You can have one for free. Where are you? I'm coming to Portland this coming weekend. Let me know....... Salmurai
