Default Slide Rite Drift boats

I am trying to find out some info about Slide Rite drift boats. A friend of mine has the opportunity to pick one up at what seems to be a very good price. Has anyone here used one or own one currently? Thanks for any info.

Buy it if it's decent and all he particulars are right for you. My opin is one of the best rowing DB hulls that were made. Don Hill has the original molds ,or did.

I used to own a 14ft sliderite. It did the job for me, I sold it to upgrade to a 17ft. If you can get a deal on one buy it.

i have a 1988 slide rite drift boat 16'-4" long from bow to stern, i couldnt be happier with it, rows great, the flexible bottom is great for shallow watter and i run a 8 horse motor for tide water and an electric for backtolling and side drifting for steelhead, you cant go wrong as long as you are happy with it

mike

pm me if you have any specific questions
