Default Banana tree off shoots

Does anyone know how I can get these off shoots of and planted in their own pot. Where do I have to cut at? Is there a doctor in the house?

No lo se. I do know that they harvest the bananas and that main stalk is dead. They keep the root-ball and continue to harvest off the new shoots that develop off the old root ball. Eventually they cut the whole thing.

If the "mother" is dead, just cut it short and leave the new shoots. Good luck.

I could not get the whole plant into the picture, but mother is alive and well.

The new shoots are called "pups", they can be separated from the main plant with a good shovel.
