Has anyone been fishing up above the johnday dam below the mouth of the john day ?? Its gotta be close to getting good soon how about some reports either here or send me a IM
I would venture to guess that it is a bit early. The water in the mainstem is a bit warmer than it has been in a few years. I don't fish there as much as I used to, but 60 degree water at the Dam was when I started playing around.....good luck!
Water is still pretty warm.... not much pressure from fishermen. The John Day arm at the mouth was 70 the other day. If you need any info on the fishing up in this area give me a call at 541-739-2222.
Take care, Dan
I'm headed down to fish the mouth on Tuesday. Anyone doing any good down there? I was thinking of drowning eggs from the mouth down towards the dam on the Oregon side. Any steelhead being caught? Wanting to find some URB as well
How long can we fish for chinooks at the mouth of the deshutes on the columbia
