Not on the FirstCast of the day, but...
I finally caught a steelhead using a jig!!!! Two days ago, I fished a local river and thought I saw a good spot for a steelhead, but was too chicken to wade out to it. A few minutes later, another person did, and hooked up. Well, today I tried that spot (after several others), and on my first cast in the hole I hooked a nice steelhead. I knew those FirstCast jigs would work. She took a red/white jig. Can't wait to get some more.

Hey High-arc great fish :smile: and your first one on a jig too . I'll tell Mike (the guy you talked to for about a half hour about jig fishing) that you got one, he'll be thrilled. By the way Mike caught/released a bright native today in the same area where he spoke with you.
