Default Trasmission service in Tillamook?

I'm pretty sure my tranny went out in my 03 Tahoe enroute to the beach tonight. I only have 1st & 2nd I'm prett sure. Any suggestions for a repair shop in Tillamook??? Pm or reply is fine. Thanks!

dang, sorry about your luck. I have to tell ya that there arent any transmission specific shops here in town, or at least there wasnt when the wifes car needed work. they pull the tranny here and then ship it to hillsboro i beleive or maybe banks. there are a few shops that will look at it im sure but i think there would be a waiting period.

There is an auto repair shop on 3rd street, east of town, called Mechtronics. I have had repairs done there on 2 occasions and have been treated very well. Good service, honest, fair prices.

Stans transmission was the only shop there the company i worked for bought all his inventory when he retired there is a few shops in Astoria

when's the last time you've changed the filter and flushed the fluid? Sometimes that's all it is. Good luck.
