I am in heaven. I am NOT coming home.
EVER. I have never stayed in a motel in my life that is so wonderful!!!! I have 10 pillows, a feather bed, and a down comforter. It is a bed you cannot get out of. I am typing from my bed. I have commercials made up in my head, and ready for this Marriot. Business men all dressed for work, dragging their feather bed and pillows with them to the waiting taxi outside!!! I have gourmet coffee, a wonderful view of Broadway, 8 of my female members of my extended family to shop and play and eat out at fancy restaraunts with, an invitation on my desk to "high tea". a little triangular box that I just opened with 2 real creamers, sugar, and a stirring straw, all kinds of little condiments for my bathing luxury, thick wonderful towels, and .... yep. I'm not going home!!!! You too can have all of this by going to the Portland Visitors Association web site, (google it!) and from there you get free parking, free breakfast, and a 109 rate!!! That is a good price for a premium hotel, and this hotel is mighty premium!!!! The folks at the front desk are really nice and extremely accommodating. Frankly, I have to stay in a lot of motels, and I get tired of it. But, this one, I could live in quite easily!! that is, if i had the money!!! I will be checking out this morning, but last night, I was staring out at the stars, imagining my moving from the river, and starting a new column, "Jennie's city life" Hey, you never know, it could happen!!!! OK, back to reality... time for breakfast with my sisters and neices, and then time to pack. EVery dream must come to an end. But, really... if you need to stay downtown, and you want a nice place to stay with your loved one, or just by yourself to shop for christmas, this is the place!!! Sorry for the lack of caps. I only have one shift key on this laptop. If you have pm'd me, I'll get back to you once i get home to my home shift keys. Jen

My goal here, all of ours... is to Christmas shop, but all we've done is giggle and do silly things, together!!!
My neice is addicted to horses, and does English hunter shows. I caught them all on video last night, after eating at Jakes, pretending they were horses, and galloping down Broadway!!! Yes, ADULTS!!!!
