I am making this post for a friend, he is kinda embaressed. He bought this boat partially finished and figured he could finish it himself, but just too many problems. Here is a picture of the boat:
I want to fully disclose the issues that he told me about: 1. No spinny thing on the motor. 2. Side are too high for him to get into the boat. 3. There is a hole in bottom of the boat. He said it was a big round hole in the hull, at the back of the boat under the motor. He was scared the boat would sink. 4. Steering wheel is improperly mounted. He wanted it on the inside. 5. The rod holder thingies are too hige for him to reach, and the handle on his snoopy rod is too short and the reel hits. 6. He says the motor is mounted wrong, his old boat had the motor on the boat, not on that big funny looking extension. 7. No paint or decal on the boat. All his friends have cool paint and decals on their boats. Now, I personally don't know alot about boats, but this looks like a pretty good deal to me for the right person. You can get more information from my friend, just call Bait-O-Eggs at 503-123-4567

I could have dealt with all the other problems, but the spinny thing on the motor is a deal breaker for me !!

Looks like the boat has some special features. There sure are a lot of tubey things on the top, but I guess each passenger needs a rod and a lot of guys the size of your friend probably fit on a boat that big.
I'm a little surprised the hole would bother him. I saw his old boat. He put all kinds of holes in that one and it never seemed to be a problem. Is it true that the fuse box was mounted under the transom? How high are the hand rails on the roof? Does the boat ramp at Clackamette go deep enough to launch a boat like that?

I know a guy that will snap this up in a minute, inspite of the issues with the lack of a spinny thing on the motor
, hole in bottom of the boat , the motor is mounted wrong , and the fact that it's new . Word has it that he even has a job starting soon. Hope his wife is in the Christmas spirit .

Your friend is correct in being worried about that hole in the bottem. That hole will let water in the boat and with nowhere for the water to go, the boat will sink, what he needs to do is drill another, larger hole to let the water out.

Rumor has it that motor spins backwards anyway.
Maybe the spinny thing got damaged in the parking lot when they test fired the boat and it backed into a fence? Those round wheels look like they roll pretty good... Maybe it's amphibious so you can just roll over those sand bars? Don't go picking on Roy for those high rails now... No need to reach the pedals on a boat, he will be just fine...

I have a 17" monitor. Knowing the original owner, would this picture show the boat at actual size?

Man!
That thing looks big enough to just take a welder on board! ![]() No, Roy, taking the spiny thingy off does not make it a jet! I saw a infomercial about a ladder that can be configured something like 114 different ways. Might work to caterpillar it up on deck! ![]() PS - Nice ride!
