Jennie and Bill came over today with two of the nicest looking twins I've seen in a long time! The first picture show what Jennie was using to catch her fish! Can you name all three items?
Now tell us your fishing story! Jen & Bill! ![]() Thanks for coming by! Marie

Once upon a time....
We had two hours to fish. So, we headed out in the bright morning sunshine for a chance for some spring gers. First, Bill's rod went down on that darn same spinner, that is gold plated. He is looking for a place that gold plates spinners now. Anyone know of any? I thought it would be a fine practical joke to clip off his spinner, while he was in the little boys room, and supposedly, so was I. He was NOT pleased, but it was worth every minute of the panic he displayed. Then, it was my turn. On Marie's red and white spinner, and a littledabwilldoya of "banana juice" my rod jerked me out of my seat, once again. I can't believe it! This year I have had no slack bites. They are being nice to me, and making sure they are hooked well, all by them self! They know that I'm a little sensitive, so they don't want to hurt my feelings by getting off the hooka. Mine, although smaller than Bill's was bright as a silver dime, and hotter than heck! It was a blast!!! Thank you, Marie, for the nice pictures. I have to head out and help butcher and pack and get the bbq going, early. You know, it's almost lunch time! ![]() That's two fish, for two strikes, in two hours! The rest of the bay seemed rather slow. In fact, I asked a guy at the dock if he'd seen any in his area. "nope" he grumbled. I just kept my mouth shut, and said, "Oh." Oh yeah, we have extremely low tides this week, so please be careful. We saw one boat take off at light speed only to be abruptly stopped, high and dry, on a sand bar. Another guy sped by us, and hit bottom, also. Just cuz you have a jet pump does not make you impervious to 2 inch deep waters! Another thing, be careful which shade of lipstick you are wearing. In the sunshine, I reccomend a bright color, in more of a red tone... However, on cloudy days I'd say a warm bronze really works well. This fish was caught on an Estee Lauder bronze shade. For details, PM me. I'm not giving out all my secrets to the lurkers, here. No way. ![]() Jen

If wearing lipstick is what it takes to catch fish I will proudly remain fishless.

Is there a place I can get some BANANA JUICE?
![]() Keep the lipstick to yourself. Maybe put some on your fish, but leave the lipstick off Bill's fish's lips. ![]() It must be about time for another field test from another happy customer (if I could only get away from work - overtime doesn't put fish on the BBQ ).SKP

I finally got used to the laughs from the other guys. But went through a period of saying stuff like "Hey, Amerman wears it." or "My doctor prescribed it, it looks Estee Lauder Pink Sunrise, but its really Parker-Davis lipbalm" or " All the serious Alantic salmon fisherman in Europe are wearing this stuff. I got it on line, forgot the website. As the air moves over the coated lips the chemicals are activated releasing a fish pherome into the air around you. It suppose to drive the fish crazy ...they even eat rocks." ![]() I have a real problem throwing away stuff. Anybody else got ideas what I can use it for- Hey how about instant color modification for lures and spinners? |

Jen, please pm me with the exact shade and color, I'm so fishless I'll do anything. Can Julie and I bring the camper to your house, every weekend we will bring the boat just to learn. Heck we'll even pay rent for the space at the house for the camper.
