Default Costco stopped carrying my favorite socks!

After several trips to different stores, I've confirmed my worst fear: Costco no longer carries my favorite Russell socks. They were synthetic, soft, wicking, affordable, and oh so comfortable...

Ok. Socks are very important. Not sure if they are for hunting boots or what not.
But her is some golden advice. Buy Fits socks. Google them. Just trust me.

Best socks available!

Don't listen to these fellas, BTA. I too have developed a liking for these socks over the years and then just like that, when I need a new 12 pack, they're gone. The comfort of these socks was far and above the average sock (you guys can keep your Gold Toes, they're garbage) and in my eyes all socks would long to one day approximate the comfort they provided. And they were relatively inexpensive to boot. ( <-- pun intended )

Apparently these days it's all about sport/athletic socks. High performance, sheer, wicking, dare I say it, man-stockings.

If you find a good replacement, I'd love to hear about them.

I feel your pain. They quit carrying catfish down here in Medford about a year ago. Tilapia is garbage.

I'm not sure if those are the ones that BTA is talking about, but Costco apparently quit carrying them. They were the Kirkland brand. I have a drawer full of them that are starting to wear out, and I'm having anxiety attacks about trying to find replacements.

They also quit carrying Jif peanut butter.

I am mighty perturbed.

Yea the ones with the red stripe on the toe are gone. But the head socks with the grey bottoms are almost as good.
With Costco if you like something buy a lot of it. It goes away as their suppliers get better deals elsewhere after they get a following at costco

Hey! You guys making light of a person bemoaning the loss of their favorite footwear must not spend much time on their feet, or are still youngsters!

Socks, and work boots, are VERY important to some of us!

Couldn't agree more. Socks are critical to me about 8 months out of the year. The world can be crumbling around me but I can keep chugging away as long as my feet are warm, dry and comfortable. I rarely wear them from June through September (sport sandals or Crocs and neoprene booties, shorts and wading shoes for the water), but I absolutely REQUIRE the right socks when it's cooler out. Merino wool/alpaca blend for me. The Cosco ones are OK for backups, but I lean on the same Ebay seller every year to replenish my supply of the ones I really like.
