Default Fishing around Centralia, Wa ?

I'm taking my five year old son to Centralia and was thinking we could do some fishing while we're there. The rain and cold doesn't bother him thanks to his Columbia sports wear outfit. It doesn't matter if it's trout or steelhead we just want to fish. I need some advice on where to start our journey, any advice is much appreciated. Thanks

Will report our findings

WDFW Recently stocked many lakes in Lewis county. trout fishing is great for kids, even big ones like me

For all us kids catching can be a good thing.

Recent stocking region 5:

Good luck, nothing better than spending time with kids outdoors.

Red or green powerbait with either a colored marshmallow or a small chunk of Berkley's trout worm fished with an egg sinker 2' above an #6 baitholder hook. When the fishing is hot, you can expect 20-60 fish days.
