Default Value of an AR15 Lower

I have very little experience with AR15's but have been thining about building one. I have an opportunity to buy a lightly used ArmaLite lower reciever but am not sure of what they are worth.

Marking say 5.56MM M15A2. No trigger assembly.

Any ideas on what it is worth?

not sure but the lower carries the numbers so make sure your buying from someone you know or trust . This in my mind would make it one of the more costly parts ?

I wanna say I paid somewhere between $125 and $175 for my mega lower new from a gun shop. And that was way back when you had to be on a waiting list to get one.

The last stripped lower I purchased was $65 from TNW. New.

There is a glut of AR parts on the market right now.

Absolutely nothing. The ban is gone, and there's no registration in OR. You may have trouble building it into a pistol if it has been previously sold as a rifle lower. But if you're just gonna build a rifle don't worry about it.

You can join the NWFA forum at www.*****************.com if you'd like more info on AR's and such. There's also a classified section if you'd like to compare prices.

Stripped AR lowers are listed in the "Parts and Accessory" section.
