Need more info

Is the motor new to you?

Did it just start doing this, or has it always done it?

Have you looked at anything (control adjustments, or under the cowl)?

The first thing to try is turning the idle down, should be a screw on the carb linkage to adjust it, and make sure the stop on the linkage seats on the screw. There may also be an adjustment on the throttle cable.

Next would be cleaning the carb.
