Best Navionics Chip??

Hey Guys and Gals!

Does anyone have a suggestion on the best Navionics chip to use in my Lowrance LMS-337-CDF? I want(ideally) a single chip that shows the Columbia and Willamette rivers and tributaries AND the coastal detail for Oregon/Washington. Is there a single chip that does all of this with good detail??

Whether or not it is the best I don't know but I have used a Navionics gold for 6 years in a 337CDF and it worked well and has good definition. It has good detail for the Columbia and the Willamette River as well as the Coastal areas. I have used it as far up the Willamette as Newberg. I just up graded to an HDS 10 gen2 and will use it in it also because it has better definition in some of the areas that I fish than the installed program.

Have them put them in a demo model for a comparison, check them out, good luck

Thanks guys, I was leaning toward the Navionics Gold already, so I guess this confirms my theory.

Mind you, the Navionics HotMaps Premium West card has more inland details for the rivers and lakes. (See my JPG attachments to this post, I've made sample images.) The Navionics 2XG is primarily coastal content and is mostly Canada with just a good dash of USA content by the borders. But that 2XG card does indeed have the Columbia River and Willamette in reasonable detail for navigational purposes.

Depending on your needs you might want the Navionics 1XG USA for all the coastal content (very good for USA west coast) AND the HotMaps West for the inland rivers and lakes. It's hard to find one card that has everything you want in one super-card.
