Re: fly gear for trade...List here ONLY!
One TFO Professional Series 9140 two-handed rod and matching Delta multi-tip line available for trade or sale.
If needed I could probably come up witha a Ross CLA to match. All of it in pristine condition.
Open to any reasonable offer.

Want to trade Skagit Flight
I have a 600 grain Skagit Flight shooting head in excellent condition. I have decided it is a little too heavy for my rod and would like to trade it for a 550 grain instead. Anybody interested?
I would also be interested in trading for a 650 grain head for my other rod. My 600 is between both.
PM me or respond here.
Thanks,
Nick

I have a Airflo 450 Skagit compact head. Only used six outings. Good for switch rods.
Would trade for just about anything, flies, leaders, other lines. Whatever.

We removed a lot of posts from this thread. This thread is for TRADES ONLY. If people continue to abuse the privilege of having this thread on this board, it will go away.

Re: fly gear for trade...List here ONLY!
Why not just have a fly gear for sale thread on this page? There isn't that much fly gear for sale / trade anyway. I'd like to see the fly gear here and not mixed in that huge FS thread.

Re: fly gear for trade...List here ONLY!
I have several boxes full of tying material from fur, feathers, thread, hooks, tools, several hackles, even a couple of full pheasants, etc...
Most of this stuff belonged to Bob James from Montana, some was mine, some may not be worth much, but there is a lot of stuff.
Just can't see to tie anymore and can't see it going to waste. Tie up a bunch of my favorite flies for me and I'd give it all to you.

I'm looking for a cheap (inexpensive) 4wt. rod. I have a reel but no rod. Don't have a lot to trade but anythings possible. I only have a disability income so figuring out a trade is an absolute must. Also looking for a decent set of chest waders and a pair of wading boots. I wear a size 9 shoe.
Thanks, Terry B.

Looking to trade a Lami XMG 50 - 96LL noodle rod (amazing jig rod for steelies) for a spey rod/reel combo. Doesn't need to be fancy, just something to learn on. I can also chip in a little extra cash for the right deal.

Re: fly gear for trade...List here ONLY!
Looking to trade straight across... I've got a Scientific Anglers #8 Bass Bug taper floating line - would like a #8 or 9 double taper floating line in trade. Cortland or Scientific Anglers lines preferred.
If color matters - the bass bug line is a dusky orange - very subdued color. I'm not too concerned with line color myself, so long as the line is in good condition (no cracks, not worn out, still floats).

Re: fly gear for trade...List here ONLY!
I have a TFO professional 5wt rod I am looking to trade. It is the 8'6" model and a 4 section rod. Comes with rod case. Rod has been fished a few times but I have the same rod in a 9'6" I fish all the time. I bring the smaller rod along as a back up but it does not see much action. I am looking to get a similar quality 4wt rod or a 7-8' 3wt rod. If anyone is interested let me know.

Re: fly gear for trade...List here ONLY!
I have a fly reel I want to try to trade here. I will trade for pretty much anything fly fishing offered. I PERFER a 6/7 fly reel (Possibly older or used)
Heres my fly reel specs:
Starter fly reel 6/7wt
Made of graphite so its lightweight
Floating fly line, White (Not sure how much there is, but plenty to fish with)
Line backing (Also not sure the exact amount)
Leader (around 8ft)
Reel has a removable spool
Right handed (Not sure if you can change it)
The one thing is it does not have a drag. Thats why I want to get a different one. It has never been used before also. The line has only touched water once and that was my bathroom sink (To make sure it floats, and it floats very well.)
I have pics of it just PM if you want to see em.

I have too much fly gear.
I am looking to trade fly fishing gear for a modern intel-based Mac computer, especially a Unibody macbook pro.
I currently have an older powerbook that does not process any HD video. If you have a computer that you are willing to part with, PM me with what you have AND what you are looking for. I have freshwater, saltwater, and spey equipment. Thanks.

Re: fly gear for trade...List here ONLY!
I have a couple William Joseph packs I received as gifts. As cool as they are, I probably won't ever use them. Both are brand new, never used, with tags.
First is the "Current" pack. It closes with magnets, coolest thing I've ever seen, but I have one of their older models that I still use.
Second is their Old School backpack. It's a little smaller than I'd like.
I'm a sucker for the William Joseph gear as it is quality for a decent price. I have six more of their packs, two of their jackets, some of their tools and a hat.
Willing to trade for a large name-brand waistpack, a nice switch rod, rod building supplies, or other fishing stuff. Must be in excellent condition.

Don't have that. I bought a used switch rod set-up and replaced the reel and line because the previous owner had not matched them to the rod. Good stuff, just not right for my rig.

20 or so issues of Northwest Fly Fishing going back to 2006. Most in the 2008 to 2011 range. I read them cover to cover so time to pass along.

Re: fly gear for trade...List here ONLY!
What I got:
Rio Indicator 7wt. Almost new. Very clean line used only several times.
Teeny T300 I've used this line on many rigs. It's still in good shape and it's never been cut down. It has some years though so not worth much.
Mountain Cork single rod and reel case/tube in brown cordura. Fancy embroidered carry strap. For 9' 2 pc rods.
Mountain Cork double rod and reel case/tube in black cordura. This one is the USA made plush lined model. It's a great way to keep a couple 9' single handers in the boat safely.
What I want:
A pair of spare waders. I would love a pair of Goretex Simms. I would take a pair of Patagonia, Baileys, Redington etc. I'm not expecting the moon, but something a little better than hodgemans or allen etc.
Got an old blank laying around you never got to building? Classic American rods needing rewrapped?
Obviously, I'd add some cash to make up the difference for the waders etc.

Re: fly gear for trade...List here ONLY!
Nothing wrong with the funny looking carp! Great sportfish to more guys every year. Now if you want to catch something to eat... probably not the best choice. Good luck with the rod.
