The Molalla River chapter of the NW Steelheaders Association will be meeting Thursday, April 19th at 6:30pm at the Farmstead Restaurant at the Arrowhead Golf Course in Molalla, OR
At this month's meetings guide Ed Fast will be presenting a lot of information regarding spring chinook planting size, planting locations, run timing, run size (and more) for numerous streams in the Willamette basin (and Sandy River). The most important aspect to catching salmon/steelhead is to fish for them when they are actually in the river.
Hope everyone can make it out. You are welcome to purchase dinner/drinks during the presentations. Meeting is open to the public.

in my presentation, there will be fish p@rn, yes, but the main thing is to give out information on where and when Spring Chinook smolts are/were planted in the Willamette Valley streams! (Sandy, too). Run timings and run size predictions will be covered, as well.

If you have questions about particular, lesser known streams or smolt release areas, I will have answers about those and will do my best to answer any questions you have about any upcoming changes in regional Spring Chinook management.

Also, if you would like to learn how to catch springers just drift fishing corkies and yarn with long leaders, then please, show up for the meeting!! I will be focusing on hooksetting technique and angle of presentation.
